Name at birth: Mia Sarapocciello
Sara was a hit as Matthew Broderick's girlfriend in the 1986 high school comedy Ferris Bueller's Day Off. She started her career on the TV soap opera All My Children and advanced to leading roles in movies like the dreamy myth Legend (1985, with Tom Cruise) and Timecop (1994, with Jean-Claude Van Damme). She played the heroine Ondine in the 2001 TV miniseries Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story.
Extra credit: In 1996 Sara married Jason Connery, son of actor Sean Connery.
